Quick Start

Get started with We2ima in three simple steps:

1. Download & Install — Download We2ima from the official website
2. Configure Environment — Ensure WeChat PC client and Chrome ima extension are ready
3. Start Importing — Open We2ima, complete calibration, choose a mode and go

Installation Guide

1. Install WeChat PC 3.9.x

We2ima requires WeChat PC 3.9.x for its Favorites Links view feature. If you already have WeChat 4.x, you can install 3.9.x alongside it.

• Download WeChat PC 3.9.x from a trusted source
• Install to a separate directory (e.g., C:\WeChat3.9)
• Log in to your WeChat account

2. Install Chrome ima Extension

• Open Chrome browser
• Search for "ima" knowledge base extension in Chrome Web Store
• Install and log in to your ima account

3. Initial Calibration

We2ima requires two calibrations before it can operate:

WeChat Calibration

1. Ensure WeChat PC is open and logged in
2. Click "WeChat Calibrate" in the We2ima home screen
3. The software will automatically connect and calibrate window position

ima Calibration

1. Ensure Chrome is open with ima extension available
2. Click "ima Calibrate"
3. Follow on-screen prompts to click the ima popup position

Note: ima calibration is session-only and must be redone each time you restart the software.

6 Import Modes

Mode	Description	Use Case
From Top, Skip Processed	Start from top, skip imported/marked articles	Regular use, first-time import
From Top, Include All	Process all articles including previously imported	Re-import everything
Resume from Breakpoint	Continue from last interrupted position	After unexpected interruption
From Position	Start from a specified list position	Precise starting point control
Date Range	Process articles within a date range	Import specific time period only
New Articles Only	Process only newly added articles	Daily incremental import

Hotkeys

Hotkey	Action	Description
Alt + P	Pause / Resume	Pause current task, press again to resume
Alt + Q	Stop	Fully stop the current task

You can safely interact with the WeChat window while paused. The software will auto-detect and recover window state when resumed.

Statistics & History

• Statistics Tab — View all scanned articles with pagination, filtering, and search
• History Tab — View operation history including scan and import records
• Color-coded status: Green = Imported, Red = Skipped, Gray = Deleted

Troubleshooting

WeChat Connection Failed

• Confirm WeChat PC 3.9.x is open and logged in
• Confirm you're using the older version, not 4.x
• Try re-running WeChat Calibration

ima Extension Not Triggering

• Confirm Chrome is open with ima extension installed and logged in
• Re-run ima Calibration
• Check screen resolution is sufficient for popup display

Import Interrupted

• Use Alt+P to pause and resume
• If stopped, use "Resume from Breakpoint" mode
• Check if WeChat window was minimized or obscured
