The most important thing: This Software is a pure local PC application that does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.

Local-First Design: All operations occur on your personal computer. No data leaves your device through the Software.

No Cloud Infrastructure: The developer does not operate any servers, cloud services, or data centers to collect or process user data.

User Data Ownership: You retain complete ownership and control over all your data.

Article 2: Data Flow Architecture

[WeChat PC Client] → [Your Computer (Software)] → [Browser/ima Extension] → [ima Knowledge Base]

WeChat to Computer: Reads article info (titles, dates, publishers) via UI automation, processed locally.
Local Storage: Processing status stored in local SQLite database, never leaves your device.
Computer to ima: Triggers ima browser extension, which communicates with ima servers per ima's privacy policy.
No third-party data sharing.

Article 3: Information We Do NOT Collect

Personal Information: No names, emails, credentials, IP addresses, or device identifiers
Usage Analytics: No analytics or telemetry of any kind
Content Data: No collection of actual article content
Behavioral Data: No tracking of behavior patterns or habits

Article 4: Information Stored Locally

Configuration: Delay settings, hotkeys, UI preferences, calibration data (local JSON file)
Processing History: Article metadata, processing status, timestamps (local SQLite database)
Log Files: Operation events and error messages (stored only on your computer)

All local data remains until you choose to delete it. You can clear history through the software interface or manually delete data files.

Article 5: Third-Party Services

The Software interacts with WeChat PC client and ima browser extension, each with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Article 6: Data Security

All data is stored locally on your computer. Security depends on your local device security. The Software does not transmit your data over the network.

Article 7: Children's Privacy

The Software is not intended for use by children under 13.

Article 8: Your Rights and Controls

Data Access: Through the software interface or direct database/config file access
Data Deletion: Use clear history function, or directly delete data files
Data Portability: SQLite database and JSON config are standard formats

Article 9: International Users

All data processing occurs locally on your device. No international data transfer by the Software. We support GDPR and CCPA principles of data minimization and user control.

Article 10: Security Testing Welcome

We welcome security researchers to examine the Software. You are encouraged to use Wireshark or Fiddler to verify no data is transmitted to external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will include updated version numbers, effective dates, and user notification through the Software.

Article 12: Data Breach Response

Since we store no user data on servers, there is no server-side breach risk. If a software vulnerability is discovered, we will promptly disclose and provide remediation guidance.
