The import feature requires WeChat PC (3.9.x). Newer WeChat (4.x) can coexist alongside it without affecting daily use.
To run both versions side by side, install new WeChat (4.x) first, then old WeChat (3.9.x). You can also install only the old version. The "WeChat Launcher" included with We2ima enables both versions to coexist without conflict.
When both WeChat versions coexist, upgrading the new version may overwrite critical files of the old version, causing it to stop working. Simply reinstall the old WeChat (3.9.x) using the installer provided with We2ima. Important: When uninstalling the current WeChat, check whether to keep chat history to avoid losing important data.
This may be caused by system permission settings on some computers. Right-click on the program icon and select "Run as administrator" to resolve the issue.
Speed depends on your settings. The software includes smart random delays and human behavior simulation for safe, stable operation. You can adjust delay parameters in Settings.
Not necessarily. ima automatically checks if the article already exists in the target directory. If it does, no points are consumed. Points are only used when importing to a new directory that doesn't already contain the article.
Just 1 point. Importing to a custom directory while also adding to the default directory counts as a single import task, consuming only 1 point.
  • Occasionally being detected by risk control and forced to exit is normal (after all, you wouldn't normally operate WeChat for such long periods so frequently). You can mitigate this by adjusting the "delay time and batch size" in the Settings page to reduce the number of operations on WeChat.
  • However, if you are frequently forced to exit by risk control, check whether the mobile WeChat client has issues such as "closed / exited / switched account / disconnected network" during task execution. In particular, the "disconnected network" issue on the mobile client is most easily overlooked. Our testing has found that when the mobile WeChat is disconnected (WiFi and mobile data turned off), it is very likely to be detected by risk control, causing WeChat to be forced to exit.

  • Click the "Refresh" button next to the pricing plan to reconnect to the server.
  • Server update / network anomaly: try again at a different time.
  • Server blocked / product delisted: new purchase services are no longer provided. (Note: In this case, already purchased plans are not affected and can still be used normally. Users who purchased the "Lifetime" plan can still contact the developer via the official email for technical support!)

  • Users who purchased the "Annual / Lifetime" plan may try to contact the developer and provide necessary identification. (Users who cannot provide valid identification will leave the developer "in a difficult position".)
The import/export function on the "Statistics" page has not been fully tested and cannot be guaranteed to be completely error-free. Please back up your data before using it.

  • Under the privacy design mechanism of this software, no one other than the user (including the developer) can decrypt the encrypted database files and exported data files. ("Cryptography experts / decryption experts / hackers / state security" etc. are not included in this scope.)
  • Users should take care to keep their login passwords safe.
  • Under the design mechanism of this software, communication between the local client and the developer's server is limited to the "purchase plan" service only. During normal use, there is no data transmission or communication between the user's local client and the developer's server. The developer cannot steal user data.
  • During use, users should protect this software and its database materials as they would protect their own WeChat.
  • In the event of data leakage but the password is not leaked, the thief cannot decrypt the user data, and the user data remains secure. ("Cryptography experts / decryption experts / hackers / state security" etc. are not included in this scope.)
  • This software does not provide a "password recovery" function, but provides a "password reset" service (based on user data security considerations).
  • During the first "scan", you will be prompted to set a database password (same as the login password), and you can optionally set a password reset question at the same time.
  • Users can enable/disable the "Use password login" function in the Settings page. (Other authentication methods are not provided at this time.)
  • After forgetting the password, click "Forgot password?" on the login page, and you can reset it through "Reset password" by correctly answering the related questions.
